The artist Duo Angelia and Isabella work together simultaneously, Meters of canvas lie flat as Gelbell build layers upon layers of paint. The paint is sculpted and pushed with hands, feet, and brushes while simultaneously being carved away to reveal figures.
People are Gelbell’s sole inspiration; and each piece holds a personal memory for Gelbell, who chooses not to reveal these stories, instead allowing viewers to connect through everyday scenes, motifs, and body language.
